In order to improve the monitoring and evaluation system of the Informal Economy Reconversion Programme (PREI), the aim of the Technical Assistance (TA) was to Support the Government of Angola (GoA) in implementing the Informal Economy Reconversion Plan (PREI) as laid down in its national strategic development plan, sectoral strategy and programme-specific action plan and line with EU Budget Support requirements.
The TA also aims to:
• Strengthened national capacities at individual, organizational and institutional levels on public policy and programme design, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, in particular concerning PREI and the EU Budget Support requirements;
• Enhanced quality and completeness of PREI Action Plan 2023-2027 and associated Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) system.
• Supported evidence-based policy dialogue between the EU Delegation and the Government of Angola on PREI and more in general on inclusive and sustainable economic growth, as well as on Public Finance Management (PFM).
