The technical assistance (TA) aims to strengthen the capacity of the Vice President’s Office (VPO), the focal point for the Blue Economy, in coordinating and implementing key initiatives that drive sustainable development.
The TA supports the VPO in various activities, including the formulation of the Blue Economy Policy and its Implementation Strategy, the establishment of a Measurement Reporting and Verification (MRV) System for Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC), and the preparation of Marine Spatial Plan (MSP) Guidelines.
It also assists in the governance and coordination of the EU Blue Economy programme, particularly in managing its budget support component.
