The PIR PALOP II intended to make available to the EC and PALOP Governments the necessary information to justify each project, in terms of pertinence, visibility and sustainability.
The projects aimed the:
- Reinforcement the training capacity and conditions of the judicial and imprisonment system in the PALOP countries, as well as the improvement of the capacity of the human resources attached to these sectors (Project Justice);
- Improvement of the receptivity and general commitment of the central, regional and local administration of the five PAPOL countries and, specifically, improve their training capacity and conditions (Project of Administration);
- Improve the statistical data to be available to a well-informed public opinion, through the existence of comparable statistic data (Project Statistics).
