The Local Economic Development Programme (PRODEL) aims to support the economic development of the rural areas of the Gaza, Inhambane and Sofala provinces, through the strengthening of the productive base and competitiveness of the local micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME).
The Project aims to provide for the Mozambican Government and its Partners an in-depth and critical analysis of the processes related to decentralization, deconcentration and local development, emphasizing, in particular, those associated with governance, finance, community participation, local economic development and inter-institutional coordination.
The Advisor to the Coordination/Coordinator support the coordination of the project achieving the objectives and results of ProDEL, as defined in the Financing Agreement. To do so, he works with the National Directorate of Rural Development and provide support in the management of the program, conduct the follow-up on audits and evaluations, implement and promote training activities, support the management of the programme estimates, assist in the conception and implementation of the M&E system and promote program visibility activities.
