The project aims to enhance the integration and participation of Angola in multilateral trade and global economy specifically in the COMESA-EAC-SADC, African Union (AU), Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs), and World Trade Organization (WTO).
The project will also contribute to:
- Institutional and capacity strengthening of the National Secretariat of SADC in areas such macroeconomics, trade, regional integration, international negotiation, intersectoral coordination and EU cooperation and development policies.
- Support the identification, implementation and monitoring of national programmes and projects, protocols and regional legal instruments.
- Support integration and harmonisation of national programmes and projects with regional programmes and projects.
- Development of databases and knowledge management tools.
