The project aimed to strengthen the public finance system and improve its effective use.
To this purpose, the Technical Assistance organized, updated and completed the records of internal debt arrears, had them validated by the authorities and development partners, and established a global programme for the clearance and settlement of internal debt arrears for the period 2000 to 2007.
