The project contributed to the implementation of the economic and financial programme supported by the IMF, through the Financing Program for Poverty Reduction and Growth.
The Ministry of Plan and Finance was advised in the implementation and monitoring of that programme, especially in the area of public finances, in the development of a monitoring tool and a mediumterm expenditure framework, which was implemented on a trial basis in the infrastructure sector.
