Qualifications and skills
- You should have a recognised university degree at master's level in a discipline relevant to the profile (including social sciences, political science, communication, economics, technology journalism, engineering, among others);
- Technical knowledge of the project management cycle;
- Expertise in ICT, science communication and digital transformation;
- Fluency/proficiency in Spanish (oral and written);
- Proficiency in English language (oral and written);
- Proven writing, summary and communication skills;
- Proven interpersonal and multidisciplinary teamwork skills;
- Demonstrated ability to relate, work and communicate with interlocutors from different sectors (e.g. public sector, private sector, international organisations, NGOs, etc.);
- Proficient in Internet and Windows environment;
- Preferably knowledge of EU development cooperation policies and strategies.
- Preferably knowledge of evaluation and monitoring techniques and systems;
General professional experience
- Must have at least 5 years of proven professional experience in communication and ICT;
- Specific professional experience
- Preferable experience and specialised expertise in the context of the development - digitisation/digital transition nexus.
- Proven professional experience in technology and science communication preferred.
- Preferably specialised knowledge in the local Latin American environment.
- Preferable experience in project and/or cooperation programme management, if it is with the EU it will be positively valued.
- Preferably advanced knowledge of space observation programmes and the use of their applications (in particular Copernicus).
