Qualifications and skills required

• Have a previous experience in the assessment of proposals submitted under EC calls for proposals;
• Have knowledge of EU and international development cooperation policies and programmes, particularly in the area of human rights’ promotion and protection;

General professional experience

• Have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience directly related to the protection or promotion of human rights in third countries;
• Have experience in team management of minimum 2 assignments of at least 12 months (non-consecutive) including experience of managing at distance;

Specific professional experience

• Previous experience as team leader of an evaluation team is an asset;

Language skills

• Be proficient in English and French. Good knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is an asset;
