Over the years CESO has become increasingly dedicated to contributing to economic and social progress, seeking to achieve the inclusive and sustainable development of society. Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Policy we support and promote a range of initiatives while improving the quality of life of our workforce and their families, as well as the community and society in general.
To achieve its goals, we seek the adoption of the International Standard ISO 26000 that defines Social and Corporate Responsibility, and its certification. CESO tries to anticipate, evaluate, and promote, in a permanent manner, the satisfaction of the needs and expectations of its clients, shareholders, workers, employees, suppliers and the surrounding community.
By implementing its CSR policy, CESO intends to:

To define and execute our approach to CSR and sustainability we rely on the following principles:

To implement our CSR policy, we periodically establish social and corporate responsibility objectives and promote the necessary actions to achieve them.
Global Compact
Since 2009 CESO has subscribed to the United Nations Global Compact and the principles enshrined within it in key areas such as Human Rights, Labour, Environment, Anti-Corruption.
In the context of Agenda 2030 and the commitment made in 2015 by all 193 members of the United Nations to develop, over the next 15 years, the path to eradicate poverty, combat injustice and ensure the protection of the planet, CESO subscribes to the 17 sustainable development goals.
Innovate Autism
Committed to fighting against all forms of discrimination, CESO has joined, as a social investor in the Human Rights Kit project, the Associação Inovar Autismo, Associação de Cidadania e Inclusão.
This social project aims, namely:
The awareness and empowerment of young people with disabilities with a view to their self-determination;
The promotion of change at the level of behavior and social attitudes and the participation of new generations in this process, including young people with disabilities themselves.
Human Rights Kit
The Human Rights Kit is designed to raise the new generations' awareness of the inclusion of people with disabilities. It is adapted to different ages and can be used in a school or educational context, individually or with the family. It consists of an analogue component, with the board game on human rights and a digital component, with an app and a moodle platform of activities.
The Pão a Pão Association is an NGOD that promotes the integration of refugees through capacity building, training and employability.
CESO participates in this project on a voluntary basis by producing crowdfunding.
CESO Solidário
An initiative set up in 2020 that provides support to our local community, collecting and distributing goods and products to social institutions. We have so far shared over half a ton of items with 5 solidarity organisations.
