This project seeks to explore opportunities for private sector participation in power generation, transmission, distribution infrastructure and to determine least-cost generation projects opportunities in Angola.
This power market assessment aims to:
- identify projects to be developed either by private investors (in generation) or by means of a combination of private and International Finance Corporation sources;
- assess resulting impact of these bankable projects on the existing power system;
- consider potential cross border trading opportunities with other SAPP countries.
